Pelsall Civic Society
are proud to announce that thanks to a grant of £10,926.32 from ICET (Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust) and £1000 raised by pelsall civic society at the 2007 new years family celebration at Pelsall Community Centre. We have purchased the Walsall Observer on microfilm dating from 1868 to 1971 also a microfilm reader, this will further enhance a valuable resource to our history centre. The history centre has become very popular with local schools, residents and visitors wishing to research both village history and family history. The new equipment will give us a more detailed insight into both Pelsall and Walsall history over the last 147 years, we would like to thank ICET for the grant. We know the the above will be in demand so if you wish to use the above could you please telephone to book, centre opening details and telephone number are on the contact page.
