Bench in Memory of Dorothy Jean Harvey
Pelsall Veteran Mr Fred Harvey is absolutely thrilled as the bench he and his family
have donated to the residents of Pelsall was finally installed on the village common(Church Road)
Thursday 3rd April 2008.
The bench is in memory of Fred's late wife Dorothy Jean Harvey
who was born in Church Road and spent her early years playing on the common.
Mr Harvey approached
the Civic Society for help after 14 months of planning wrangles, the civic society got it sorted in 4 weeks
and are happy with the outcome and that the matter has now been resolved.
