Ex Pelsallonian, Paul Cox (Muzza) popped into Pelsall History Centre on Saturday while visiting Pelsall to say goodbye to friends and family before jetting off next week to live on his yacht in San Francisco to retire.
Paul born in 1952 in Highfield Road, son of the late Billy and Lilly Cox and brother Derek Cox.
He went to Maple Road junior school then to Pelsall Secondary School, Pelsall Lane.
Leaving school he served an apprenticeship in Mechanics at Walsall Tech for United Carriers Walsall Wood.
He married local girl Sheila Fallon in 1974 and has two wonderful lads Mathew and Simon.
Paul then went into business and moved to Huntingdon, Cambridge.
After selling his successful business he is now looking forward to fulfilling is dreams of sailing.
Paul said' visiting the centre rekindled a lot of great memories of growing up in Pelsall, its a wonderful village, the centre is a asset to the village. The Website is brilliant and I shall be a regular visitor to keep up to date on Pelsall's history.
I would like to say goodbye to all those who know me and would like to hear from old and new friends via my email paul.cox13@yahoo.com
We all wish Paul a safe and happy retirement. Andrew Weller Chairman
